Although to own a pointer was my secret desire years and years ago, Norman was not planned at al , and he came after sudden death of my first weimaraner Faust, as a comforting present for Eastern in year 2005., chosen by my dear friend Sinisa Salkovic, who is enthusiastic young judge and breeder of pointers for many years.

As Normy came, he was already eleven months old and already trained and introduced to practical hunting. Norman was bred in Croatia, but he comes out of famous Italian show & hunting lines (Del Biondo, Del Sole, Del Celo, Della Cisa, Dell Gallopattatore) and few French hunting lines (Du Bois De Perches). In the year 2001, his dam Ch. Atena of Hunter’s Arrow was a top bitch in Croatia, multi BOB and BOG winner, European winner and Bundessieger. His grandfather on mothers side was multi BOB/BOG winner Ch Hr. Ch Rip. Ducati Del Biondo, and grandgranfathers famous Multi BOB/BOG winners Ch It. Drago Del Biondo and Ch It. Dogo Del Biondo. On his sire’s side, his grandfather was famous Ch Int. Ch Itl. TRAIL CH Hardy Du Bois Des Perches.
Norman’s beautiful appearance, especially his typical “dish faced” head expression, which gives him a little bit arrogant looks, and gentle hazel-nut eyes impressed everybody, not only lots of eminent judges on eminent dogshows. That’s why Normy’s second nickname is “Mr. Muzzle” and he is simply loved so much by lots of people. His intelligence, sweetness, gentle but happy and powerful pointer temperament enchants everybody.
So in three years of seldom showing, he has easily won multiple BOB & Best in Group placements in and abroad and this way also earned this titles:
ChJ HR, ChJ BIH, Ch BIH, 3x Specialty Winner, Zagreb Winner ’06, Winter Winner ’06, DLP Club Winner ’06…
He has been praised and rewarded by some eminent breed judges, like: Mrs. Marianne Gyarfas, president of the Hungarian Pointer Club, judge and pointer breeder under prefix “Saregresi”, pointer breeder and judge Mr. Norman Huidobro Corbett from Spain, pointer breeder and judge Mr. Gianni Guffanti from Italy, FCI Vice-president and president of the Austrian Kennel Club Mr. Karl Reisinger…

In the field, Norman shows speed, stamina and excellent birdyness, and his pointing is beautiful to observe. He loves water and retrieves. He is eager to please. For me, his hunting performance in the wide field is simply  a “tremendous movie”, that I want to watch over and over again.
